16 Central Government Department of Fisheries, Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying For generation of Identity card for marine fishers, an application is being developed by Common Service Center (CSC) and the fishers details will be Aadhaar authenticated. The data captured after Aadhaar authentication will be saved in CSC cloud and the digital ID cards will be created. This digital ID card is proposed to be available in Digilocker for National coastal security agencies to identify Indian fishers while at sea and will also be linked with Government Schemes. 24.09.2025
17 State Government TAMIL NADU/DEPARTMENT OF HIGHER EDUCATION The proposed use case utilizes voluntary Aadhaar authentication to digitize and streamline academic and administrative workflows across DOTE and Anna University institutions. Aadhaar seeding and biometric validation will verify the identities of students, parents, faculty, and staff, enabling secure admissions, attendance tracking, examination processing, and affiliation workflows. Integrated platforms like UMIS and e-Governance portals will use Aadhaar-verified data to reduce duplication, enhance accountability, and support real-time monitoring. This initiative promotes transparency, operational efficiency, and equitable access to student-focused services across Tamil Nadu’s higher education ecosystem. 30.09.2025
18 State Government BIHAR/Labour Resources Department Aadhaar-based authentication enables auto populate user specific details such as Name, Father Name, DOB and other demographic details. Registration of users (such as Students, Job Seekers, Principals, etc.) will be done through the aadhaar. The application will verify users using Aadhaar-based OTP authentication and automatically populate their details in the form. Manual entry of personal details in the form will be discontinued, which will significantly eliminate errors related to personal information and identity verification 27.08.2025

20 State Government TAMIL NADU/Information Technology and Digital Services SFDB Platform allows Citizens to login into the portal via Aadhaar OTP based eKYC authentication for a login process. Post login, the Citizens will be allowed to view their demographic information of both data as per State Government Public Distribution System and Aadhaar Information. The Citizens will be able to view the already availed schemes from State Government of Tamil Nadu and also the probable Eligible schemes, that they may become eligible based on the pre-defined criteria as per the G.O's. 24.09.2025

23 State Government RAJASTHAN/Department of School Education The proposed Aadhaar Authentication Service for RSOS aims to streamline student enrollment and examination processes by verifying identities through Aadhaar. During registration, students provide their Aadhaar number, followed by biometric or OTP-based authentication to confirm their identity. This system prevents fraudulent or duplicate enrollments, ensuring only genuine candidates participate. Linking Aadhaar with student records enhances data accuracy, security, and transparency. It also simplifies document verification, reducing administrative workload. Overall, Aadhaar authentication supports a trustworthy, efficient RSOS system, improving access to flexible education while maintaining integrity in admissions and examinations. 24.09.2025
24 State Government ANDHRA PRADESH/Grama Volunteer Ward Volunteer and Village Sachivalayam Ward Sachivalayam (GVWV and VSWS) Department To enhance good governance in Andhra Pradesh by leveraging digital platforms. It focuses on ensuring the efficient delivery of social welfare benefits, preventing fraud, and promoting transparency. The service will enable seamless access to various services by verifying the identity of beneficiaries through Aadhaar authentication. 26 State Government WEST BENGAL/Department of Information Technology and Electronics Aadhar Based Attendance System (ABAS) which will eliminate Proxy Attendance. Traditional attendance systems often face challenges such as falsified records, proxy attendance, and inefficient data management. These shortcomings compromise workforce accountability and hinder public service delivery. To address these issues, an Aadhaar-based biometric attendance system is introduced, leveraging fingerprint or facial recognition technologies securely linked to an individual’s Aadhaar. By incorporating biometric authentication along with geo-fencing, the system ensures that attendance can only be marked by the authorized individual present at the designated location. This effectively eliminates the possibility of proxy attendance and strengthens transparency and accountability within the workforce. 20.08.2025
27 Central Government Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas NRL uses the in-house developed web application ‘SARAL PRAVESH SYSTEM’ for enrolling contract workers engaged in various maintenance and project-related works, accessible to authorized users over Intranet/Internet. Currently, identity verification of the contract workers is done manually, which is laborious, time-consuming, and prone to errors. To enhance efficiency and avoid any possible duplicity, it is proposed to adapt Aadhaar-based authentication services for identity verification of contract workers within the ‘SARAL PRAVESH SYSTEM’. Contractors will update workers' basic information, including Aadhaar numbers, and validate them using OTPs sent to worker's registered mobile numbers. Only validated workers will be processed for onboarding. 11.08.2025
28 State Government WEST BENGAL/Department of Information Technology and Electronics Anumodan was developed to streamline and digitize the Driver Authorization process in West Bengal, replacing traditional notarized consent documents that were costly and time-consuming. Aligned with India’s Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI) initiative, Anumodan aims to create a secure, transparent, and user-friendly digital ecosystem for vehicle authorization. Real-Time API Integration will be there with AADHAAR, VAHAN and SARATHI databases for instant and accurate verification of vehicle owner and driver details. This portal will eliminate the need for physical visits and paperwork. This initiative will ensure tamper-proof documentation and traceability. 13.08.2025
29 Central Government Department of Sports/Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports SAI proposes Aadhaar authentication to verify the identity of athletes, coaches, and staff during registration, attendance marking, and DBT processing under schemes like Khelo India, Target Olympic Podium Scheme (TOPS), and National Centres of Excellence (NCOEs). The service will authenticate beneficiaries through OTP, biometric, or facial verification to establish uniqueness, prevent impersonation, and ensure transparent, efficient service delivery. Verified Aadhaar details will be used for disbursing scholarships, stipends, and benefits directly to linked bank accounts, ensuring compliance with DBT guidelines. Additionally, it will validate presence during camps, training, and competitions, ensuring genuine participation and accurate records. 04.08.2025
30 Central Government Ministry of Railways To establish the identity of candidates throughout the recruitment cycle—before, during, and after the examination—until final joining, using Aadhaar authentication (voluntary basis) to prevent impersonation and duplication. Additionally, to authenticate exam officials such as invigilators, scribes, and support staff at all stages of the recruitment, ensuring that only verified personnel are deployed. This will strengthen examination integrity, eliminate overlaps (e.g., the same person acting as both candidate and official), and enable secure digital processing via existing Aadhaar-enabled platforms. 30.07.2025
