91 Central Government Department of Sports/Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports SAI proposes Aadhaar authentication to verify the identity of athletes, coaches, and staff during registration, attendance marking, and DBT processing under schemes like Khelo India, Target Olympic Podium Scheme (TOPS), and National Centres of Excellence (NCOEs). The service will authenticate beneficiaries through OTP, biometric, or facial verification to establish uniqueness, prevent impersonation, and ensure transparent, efficient service delivery. Verified Aadhaar details will be used for disbursing scholarships, stipends, and benefits directly to linked bank accounts, ensuring compliance with DBT guidelines. Additionally, it will validate presence during camps, training, and competitions, ensuring genuine participation and accurate records. 04.08.2025
92 Central Government Department of Higher Education/Ministry of Education The government organizations for whom EdCIL conducts computer based tests for recruitment will ensure selection of candidates with right identity thus will debar proxy candidates to manipulate the system and vitiate the selection process. 97 Central Government Department of Financial Services/Ministry of Finance 1. Once CKYCRR receives record from RE for processing, the record goes for de-duplication. CKYCR issues 14-digit ID against each record uploaded by RE after de-duplicating. 93% of OVD is Aadhar in CKYCRR. CKYCRR receives only last four digits of Aadhar number. To improve the efficiency of de-duplication process, complete aadhar number is required. 2. CKYCRR is required to validate the received aadhar card details with issuing Authority i.e. UIDAI. This validation from UIDAI will help CKYCRR to perform seamless authentication of demographic details, reduce fraud, enhance data authenticity while ensuring compliance with privacy and security standards. 29.05.2025

By integrating Aadhaar authentication, the system can authenticate individuals based on their biometric data (fingerprint, Face), which is securely linked to their Aadhaar number.
